Asimismo, analiza su participaci\u00f3n en las distintas tareas productivas y de gesti\u00f3n, el desarrollo de habilidades digitales, su incidencia en los procesos de toma de decisiones y, especialmente, los desaf\u00edos y barreras que a\u00fan enfrentan para alcanzar una participaci\u00f3n plena y equitativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"section-g-eyuxpkk\" class=\"section-g-eyuxpkk gutentor-element gutentor-element-image wp-block-gutentor-e6\"><div class=\"gutentor-element-image-box\"><div class=\"gutentor-image-thumb\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/fepale.org\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image002.jpg\"\/><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este documento constituye un valioso aporte para comprender una tem\u00e1tica de creciente relevancia para el sector l\u00e1cteo. Adem\u00e1s de visibilizar el aporte de las mujeres a la lecher\u00eda, busca promover acciones que fortalezcan su participaci\u00f3n y liderazgo, contribuyendo al desarrollo de una cadena l\u00e1ctea m\u00e1s inclusiva, equitativa y socialmente sostenible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los autores del trabajo son: Laura Gastaldi, Maria Rosa Scala y Alejandro Galetto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the International Year of the Woman Farmer, the Pan-American Dairy Federation (FEPALE), in collaboration with the U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC), conducted the study&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Participation and Role of Women in the Latin American Dairy Sector.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study was carried out by a team of researchers using a comprehensive methodology that included interviews with women leaders from the dairy sector, focus groups, regional surveys, interviews with dairy industry organizations, and an extensive review of the available literature and relevant documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The publication provides an in-depth analysis of the role women play throughout the Latin American dairy value chain. It addresses key issues such as access to land, education and training opportunities, professional experience, demographic profile and age distribution, responsibilities both on and off the farm, digital skills, participation in decision-making processes, and, most importantly, the challenges and barriers women continue to face in achieving full and equitable participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This publication represents a valuable contribution to one of the most relevant topics facing the dairy sector today.
